Gardner Hair Collective is a booth-rent salon rooted in community, creativity, and craftsmanship. With over 50 years of collective experience behind the chair, our team is made up of independent stylists who are passionate about their work and committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive experience for every guest who walks through our doors.Located in Toledo, Ohio, Gardner Hair Collective was born from a thoughtful reimagining of a long-standing local salon formerly known as The Crimping Tree. When owner and stylist Tory purchased the space, she saw its potential immediately. After a full renovation and rebrand, the salon was transformed into a fresh, cozy environment that feels more like home than a traditional salon—one where people from all walks of life feel comfortable, seen, and cared for.Before opening Gardner Hair Collective, Tory spent over a year working in a one-chair private suite, exploring salon ownership on a small scale. While the experience was valuable, it quickly became clear that working in isolation wasn’t the long-term vision. The energy, collaboration, and camaraderie of a shared salon space were deeply missed. That realization sparked a clear mission: to create a salon that blends independence with connection, where stylists can thrive in their careers while being part of something bigger.Today, Gardner Hair Collective is exactly that—a supportive, thoughtfully curated space where stylists run their own businesses without sacrificing community, and guests can relax knowing they’re in experienced, caring hands.
